Losing Popular Vote Sends LBPSB Chairman A Strong Message: The Population Wants Change.

The LBPSB eligible voters sent a two pronged  message to the LBPSB Chairman elect Suanne Stein Day. By  losing the popular vote for chairman fourty six percent  to her  opponents Chris Eustace and Angela Nolet’s  combined  fifty four percent and by the deafening non response to her and QESBA’s  frantic calls for the population  to support school boards, the message from the populace is clear……..we demand change.

Despite this futile exercise in democracy, the ultimate decision makers as to the future of school boards will be the Québec government and by all accounts, it could  very well be that all Mrs. Suanne Stein Day will be able to do is re-arrange the deck chairs before the inevitable sinking of this antiquated and overly bureaucratic educational model called school boards.

Lets hope Mrs. Suanne Stein Day will see it within herself, without  any vindictiveness, to address the populace demands.
